How Spasht earns trust

Neutrality is not a label we award ourselves. It is a process readers can inspect and challenge.

Our commitments

  1. Separate verified fact, attributed claim, analysis and opinion.
  2. Prefer primary documents and independently corroborate important claims.
  3. Apply the same evidentiary standard to every party.
  4. Show material uncertainty instead of asking AI to fill it.
  5. Link claims to sources and preserve visible corrections.
  6. Label AI illustrations and never present them as documentary photographs.
  7. Accept no political advertising, party funding or payment for favourable coverage.

People accountable

Komal Chandra and Pragya Nagpal Chandra are Spasht's editors and reviewers. Komal Chandra is the grievance officer; Pragya Nagpal Chandra is alternate.

Corrections

Every story accepts factual-error and missing-context reports. Material corrections preserve the previous wording, new wording, reason, editor and timestamp.
